Andersen Manufacturing has been in the metal fabrication industry for over 30 years. We have years of experience when it comes to working with steel and aluminum. We are well known through out the satellite antenna industry for building the True Focus line of satellite antennas and mounts. Fabrication technology pioneered by Andersen Manufacturing makes the True Focus antennas one of the most accurate line of antennas in the industry.

Our ULTRA HITCH Division took this experience and expertise and applied it to the towing industry. We recognized there was a need for an easy, convenient way to tow a 5th wheel trailer, without having a large, cumbersome 5th wheel hitch cluttering up the truck bed, rendering it useless for anything else. The solution was a turnover ball gooseneck style hitch, the Ultra Hitch, and the Universal Ranch Hitch Adapter. The adapter easily converted the 5th wheel trailer to a 2-5/16" gooseneck ball, which when uncoupled, left the bed of your truck completely free of hitches and rails--reclaiming your truck bed to be used as a truck should be, to haul "stuff".

Andersen has also applied some of that practical thinking to the receiver hitch towing crowd and developed the Rapid Hitch. The Rapid Hitch incorporates two different ball sizes, 2" and 2 5/16"; plus, it features a multiple setting adjustable height which allows you to level out the load. The Rapid Hitch is compatible with any 2" Class III and Class IV style receiver hitch.

Taking our experience with aluminum a step further, we are developing a new Rapid Hitch which will be built entirely from high strength, lightweight, aluminum alloy. It will have all of the features, capabilities, and capacities of the current Rapid Hitch; plus, it will weigh a lot less! To compliment the New Rapid Hitch, we have also developed a line of "fixed", drop style, draw bars made from high strength aluminum alloy. Called the "Alumastinger", these new draw bars offer an attractive functional way to dress up your towing rig. Both of these new products will be available Late Summer / Fall of 2002.
